"what is selfshipping?"

selfshipping is the practice of inserting your own character (usually based on yourself) into a relationship with a (usually canon) character. despite what some believe, selfshipping has never been strictly romantic, so the relationship in question can be anything! lovers, friends, family, pets, even enemies!

"why do you selfship?"

there are a lot of reasons why someone might selfship. for us specifically, we've used selfshipping as a coping mechanism throughout our life due to it providing us a way of escaping our situation. nowadays, i moreso do it because its how i show my love for the things i care about. that, and its just something i find a lot of joy in doing!

"when did you start selfshipping?"

we've technically been doing it our whole lives! however, we didn't learn about/join the community until mid-2015. fun fact: our first 'official' f/o was sans undertale

"who do you selfship with?"

many characters. our main selfships are currently mothadow and tennbambi, but you can see more in the links to the side!
